Dressage Horse

What the judges want to "listen" to listen to their music free of dressage horse!
There are four categories that judges should consider when listening and watching his freestyle. They are:
1. Fitness
2. Cohesion
3. Edition
4. Phrasing and dynamics
Let's go over one by one.
1. Fitness-The current definition in the USDF rulebook says: "Music of the parties and expresses the horse and aires.
What does it mean? "Matching the air" means that the rhythm of music or beats per minute (BPM) is the same as your horse Beat Down in the pattern of foot drop from the walk, trot and canter. (For higher levels, but must also match Piaffe and passage.)
The compass action (touching the toe a) must match the Down Beat your horse's gait. For example, in the galloping major Beat Down the right front would be the third quarter, when the front right side hits the ground. If the judge can tap your toes to the music and matching when the right front leg is hitting the ground in the right place, then matches the pace of progress of his horse.
With the theme "your horse" may be somewhat subjective, although is very evident when it coincides with NO. If you're riding a large rubber Warmblood, then the cute circus music is not appropriate. Moreover, a smaller, more average motor would mean even more if there was a large piece of music. The large music can set wrong expectations of judges because of the depth of the music. The music is bigger not always better.
2. Cohesion is defined in the rule book as: "Music which is linked by genre, theme or orchestration. "This means that judges should easily be able to hear the connection between pieces of music.
Music must sound as if it were a single piece for all air selected. The link may be the music of the same genus, as the jazz and rock and roll, or the same instrument can be offered throughout the piece.
The link could also be music television program, or a film series. In any case, the connection of music should be more obvious to you. You may think that the connection is obvious, but ask some friends if they "get it" before finalizing the selection of music.
3. The issue is defined as "music that has a circulation smooth, no harsh cuts, transitions or fades. "If You Can hear a cut or a clip on a piece of music is not good editing.
Remember that music has phrases. Never cut or edit a piece of music in mid-sentence. It would be like leaving off the end of a sentence. You leave the hanging judges.
Imperceptible changes are seamless. Elements that play an important role in good editing are pitch, key, and where the blows are in the measure.
4. Phrasing Phrasing and dynamics-is defined as "The way sequences of letters are grouped to form units of the melody, the expression of musical phrases.
This means that a line of notes or measures are grouped with a clear beginning and end, like a sentence. You should feel almost like taking a breather at the end of a musical phrase much as you would with the end of a sentence.
Dynamics are the changes in sound intensity, such as changes in volume and intensity that could help define a change in one motion. For example, switching from working trot to an extension, or collected trot half pass, would be more intense with a clear change, musical dynamics.
The judges did not want to guess when the extension was to begin. Want to hear a clear change in music, the volume or intensity.
I hope this helps get you on the same page "as the judges! Ruth
